Hi friends and welcome to my website.  My name is Rachel, and I am 12 years old.  I am a member of the Skating Club of Phoenix and train at the Desert Schools Coyotes Center in Peoria, AZ.  

     I absolutely love figure skating!   I cannot believe the summer of 2008 is winding down already and I will be heading back to school.  There is still a lot to do before Regionals this year if I decide to go at the Juvenile level.  I was skating up this year to see how it would go.  It is a tough level but overall I think I did ok my first few times out.  I've made a lot of nice friends along the way.

      All of my doubles are coming along --except double axel:), which I can't wait to start working on.   I hope to have the rest of my double jumps consistent by the end of the summer.

    I am ready to take Novice moves and look forward to that senior gold MIF medal before long :).  I added some good off-ice training, which I think has really helped my endurance and skating.  I did a little training in California this past spring and had the chance to work with many great coaches including John Nicks, Todd Sand and Jenny Meno.   More photos on the way!!
