I put on my first pair of skates when I was about 4, but didn't start skating in group lessons until I was 7 after my Grandad won me a "learn to skate" package.  I stayed in group for about 2 years and then began working with a private coach.  I started out with one lesson a week but then quickly went to twice a week.  After skating in my first ice show, I knew I wanted to compete.  Now I skate every day but take a break on the weekends.

I just completed a junior intern class, so I hope that I might be able to assist in the "learn to skate" program.  My sister Chelsea also skates but not as much since she is off to college.

My favorite skater is Sasha Cohen.  I could not wait to read her book and learn all I could about her.  She is such a beautiful and talented skater.  It was a dream come true for me to meet her when she came to my home rink promoting the “Champions on Ice” tour.  I also really like Kimmie Meissner.

Besides skating, I love to play the piano.  I started playing when I was 3 years old, and then started lessons when I was about 4.  I practice piano every day and have played in two recitals a year for the last 7 or 8 years.   I like to draw and paint when I have time. Click here to see some of my artwork, all of which were done when I was younger than 10.

I have been on the “Principal’s list” every semester for the last 3 years and was recently inducted into the National Junior Honor Society.  I try to be the best at everything I do.

I have two birds --Roxanne and Monty, and a dog named Lucky.  Lucky is an Australian shepherd and is very energetic.
